History of my Jeep, an ongoing adventure
1984 - The year I walked into the AAFES Car dealership (a shack) on Ramstein Airbase, Germany and ordered my CJ8. 1985 - I arranged to pick it up in Birmingham, Al as I was transferring from Germany to Anniston, Al. The months ticked by with no word from Jeep. I started calling all of the dealerships in Alabama & finally found it in Birmingham! My buddy gave me a ride & there it was! I signed the paperwork & drove away... They said they received it from Toledo but the paperwork got messed up overseas & they almost sold it.
